The brand-new Motorola Edge 5G smartphone is now available to order from O2 online on O2’s customisable plans.
A selection of tariffs are available from O2 for the Motorola Edge, starting from £32.17 per month for 1GB of data with a £30 upfront payment.
Motorola Edge come with a curved display with hole-punch design and triple rear cameras. Motorola has equipped the phones with dual stereo speakers tuned by Waves and has also added a host of new customisations and edge screen features to the phones’ Android 10 interface.
A 64MP triple camera system lets customers capture everything from super high-res to crisp low-light, plus the device features 16MP for wide angle shots and 8MP for ultra-zoom.
The Motorola Edge also comes complete with a 25MP front camera where users can capture video in UHD (2160p) whilst being confident in power which can last up to two days due to its 4500 mAH battery.
Motorola Edge runs stock Android 10, with a few add-ons. First, Motorola has tried to make the near 90-degree curve somewhat functional. Users can swipe up or down on the edge to check notifications or quickly switch apps. The edge also shows battery charging status and notifications for incoming calls, messages, and alarms.
The curved portion of the edge shows two customisable buttons at the top and bottom that can be used as triggers while gaming in landscape mode.
Another feature that the company is touting for the Motorola Edge series phones is the Waves-tuned dual stereo speakers. Motorola says the Waves MaxxAudio Mobile suite will provide a superior audio output on the two phones.
Customers can also claim a free Lenovo E10 family 10.1” tablet worth £99.99, available exclusively on O2 on any orders placed until the 24th June.
